SPARC hosted a Workshop on Geo-referencing of Forest Lands (GRFL) Using Advanced Technologies at Satakosia Wildlife Division Hosted Groundbreaking

In a significant step towards precision forestry, an Orientation Workshop on Geo-referencing of Forest Lands (GRFL) using Remote Sensing, GIS, and DGPS Survey was conducted at Satkosia Wildlife Division, Angul Forest Circle in December 16, 2023. Organized by Forest IT and Geomatics Cell, PCCF Odisha, in collaboration with SPARC Pvt. Ltd., the workshop aimed to train Forest and Revenue officials. There were 68 officials who attended the workshop. This initiative harnesses advanced technologies for accurate mapping, promoting effective forest conservation and management in Odisha.
