Case Summary

Women & Child Development Department implements a large number of welfare programs and schemes. Different programs and schemes cover a large number of beneficiaries involving children, adolescent girls, women and aged population. It has become practically difficult to keep track of the progress of each of the programs along with the financial sanction and utilization. A scheme monitoring system was implemented to capture the physical and financial progresses of each of the programs and schemes at the different operational levels (district/ block/ GP). The Web enabled system was designed to assimilate data from the concerned remote locations and to generate the program status reports at the respective operational levels. Apart from the above, the system shall assist as a decision support tool for the authorities.
