The assignment involved study of the forest land involvement in the mine prospecting region for diversion purpose. Preparation of geo-referenced forest land map through DGPS survey as per the guidelines of the MoEF involved identification & establishment of primary control points (PCP) within the project with reference to the ORSAC known points, identification of the secondary control points and DGPS observations of the permanent ground features for the revenue cadastral maps involved in the project and subsequent differential corrections with the corresponding base station observation through the post-processing methods.
