Crop Suitability Analysis using GIS & Remote Sensing in the command area of Odisha. Agriculture intensification Project, a World Bank assisted program aimed at formulation of an appropriate Land Use Action Plan with crop diversification for enhancement of productivity & effective utilization of available water in the irrigated command area of Ghodahad Reservoir, Dhanei Reservoir & Rushikulya Distributary-11 irrigation system. SPARC assisted Directorate of Agriculture and Food production in preparing a Water User Association (WUA) Level Suitable Cropping Practice based on slope, soil texture and fertility etc. to be adopted in the WUAs

The GIS based Crop Planning helped in
